We’re Number 1! We’re Number 1!

We made it!  The Greater Tampa Bay Area is the #1…. most stressful city in all the land.  That’s disappointing, huh?  Sperling’s BestPlaces, a research firm that specializes in researching livability, just released their annual study.  The study analyzed a variety of factors associated with stress, including suicide, divorce, crime, joblessness and length of commuting.  It may be sunny in Tampa Bay, but life isn’t always a beach here.

It’s important to find ways to relieve stress in your life.  Some people may take up sports, find a hobby they love, or sail catamarans.  Myself, I don’t have the time or cash for a catamaran (sigh) but I can squeeze an hour out of my week for a massage – and I do.  Some massage therapists are always the last to get work done.  Not me!  Massage releases hormones into the body that relieve stress, improves circulation & promotes overall wellness.  The effects are cumulative – so get your regular massage done, because each one builds on the last, and I don’t intend to let my stress beat me.
